In RoboCop, the year 2028 and the multinational corporation OmniCorp is at the center of robotics. Abroad, the drones were used by the military for years - and had in mind the bottom line of billions OmniCorps. Now OmniCorp wants to introduce controversial technology on the front of the house, and they see an opportunity to do so. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit - was seriously injured in the service, OmniCorp sees his chance to be part human, part robot officer. OmniCorp provides RoboCop in every city, and even more billions for their shareholders, but never count on one thing: there is another man inside the unit, to demand justice. |
